The deciding factor:

The other day a patient wanted to fix only two central teeth, because they were very long and terribly discolored. I agreed, the patient’s teeth needed immediate attention. But experience of 20 years tells me that after those teeth will be fixed, the patient’s attention will shift to the next point in the smile whether it is darker or shorter or just a little rotated tooth.
We want you to know we are here for you regardless if you want to fix just two or four teeth, or you are looking for a complete smile makeover.
An Alternative Treatment
Unless you have completely avoided all television and magazine advertisements, I am confident you had heard about this new and fascinating way of straightening your teeth without braces called Invisalign. Invisalign is one of the few companies that utilize technology and can give a realist projection of your teeth movement and how your end result will look. This technology is amazing. All that is required are photos and an impression of upper and lower teeth.
There are cases, we call them combination or combo cases, where it would be beneficial to have both Invisalign treatment and porcelain veneers. Two examples of these combo cases would be very large spaces between the teeth or severe crowding of the front teeth along with discoloration of the teeth. For a combo case we first align teeth into proper position, and then we can perform veneering to change shape and color permanently, without reducing tooth structure.
